What to Post on LinkedIn

Many business professionals experience the benefits of LinkedIn! However, as a business owner, you have so many things on your plate, so how do you know what you should post on the platform? 98 Buck Social is always aware of the best practices for your social media posting, so here are our tips!

Blog posts. LinkedIn allows Articles on their platform! This type of content performs very well for thought leaders. Blog posts on your LinkedIn profile make your audience trust your brand and allow you to share your insight and expertise.

Third-party content. Unlike Instagram, you shouldn’t just post about yourself and your business. Share high-quality content from other people! By sharing from a reputable third party, you add value and create a community in your industry. It also saves time when creating your affordable social media marketing plan.

Native video. Video is the most engaged-with content, so it is a great way to increase your total engagement! Create short interviews, behind-the-scenes, or lessons for your audience. Animations also do well on LinkedIn posts. It is best to upload directly to the platform so they don’t get redirected off the platform unless it is going to your website.

Pure text. Visual-heavy feeds can be overwhelming so it is great to mix in some text-only posts. You can share hacks, tips, promotions, and updates in this format! There is a cut-off where your followers have to click “See More” to read your entire post. Either keep your LinkedIn posts short or make the first few sentences very clickable so they want to read the entire post.

Photography or illustrations. Depending on your branding and industry, you can create endless showstopping graphics for your LinkedIn. Utilize your graphic design team to inlay text onto your images to get more information across to your audience.
